About the role
ARCHIE KARAS: a Greek immigrant who turns $50 into roughly $40 million at the pool table, the poker table and the dice, then loses it all. Charming, quiet, fearless; he never walks away. At 15 he runs away from his father in Kefalonia and onto a cargo ship. Applicants must be 18 or older (all FilmIndustry members are); we're looking for adults who can play 15.

The project
A Greek immigrant arrives in Las Vegas with $50, turns a borrowed stake into an estimated $40 million in under three years, the longest winning streak in gambling history, then loses all of it in about three weeks. Based on the true story of Archie Karas.
