About the role
ARCHIE KARAS: a Greek immigrant who turns $50 into roughly $40 million at the pool table, the poker table and the dice, then loses it all. Charming, quiet, fearless; he never walks away. At 65, banned from every casino in Nevada, he watches a craps table through the glass. A short, wordless role: everything is in the face.
